Spec5 Raven UAS: Copilot Airborne Mesh Relay & Reconnaissance Platform
The Spec5 Raven UAS is a lightweight, GPS-stabilized unmanned aerial system engineered to combine aerial reconnaissance with off-grid mesh network extension. Each kit includes the Spec5 Copilot connectivity module, transforming the Raven into a fully integrated airborne LoRa mesh relay capable of enhancing situational awareness in disconnected environments.
Designed for mobility, endurance, and rapid deployment, Raven UAS enables field teams, emergency responders, and technical operators to extend ground-based mesh networks while simultaneously capturing stabilized aerial imagery. With up to 40 minutes of flight time and a long-range digital video link, Raven UAS delivers reliable performance in dynamic operational environments.
Extended Flight Endurance: Powered by a 3000 mAh removable Li-ion battery, Raven UAS provides up to 40 minutes of flight time per charge, enabling sustained overwatch and wide-area coverage.
Airborne Mesh Relay: Integrated Spec5 Copilot module allows the drone to operate as an elevated LoRa mesh repeater. Extend network range, relay GPS telemetry between nodes, and improve connectivity over terrain, vegetation, or urban obstacles. Compatible with Meshtastic and ATAK integrations.
Stabilized 2.5K Aerial Imaging: Equipped with a high-resolution stabilized camera delivering 2.5K video and approximately 12 MP stills. Electronic Image Stabilization ensures smooth footage and reliable observation capability.
Long-Range Digital Transmission: PixSync 2.0 digital link provides live video and control up to 4 km (line-of-sight, subject to local regulations), maintaining situational awareness well beyond the launch point.
GPS-Assisted Flight & Intelligent Modes: Integrated GPS + GLONASS + GNSS support stable positioning, return-to-home, waypoint navigation, orbit mode, altitude hold, follow-me mode, and one-key takeoff/landing for simplified operation.
Portable & Rapid Deployment: Sub-249 g foldable airframe packs compactly for transport and deploys within seconds, making it ideal for mobile teams and fast-response scenarios.
